Double Check Your Tracked Food Items

The user entered foods are a great help in nutrition tracking.You can always at least get close. However, some users enter only calories so if you are tracking other nutrients, make sure to double check the nutrition information for user entered foods. Otherwise your results might be skewed.

    when using other members added foods, i always check it against my package to see if it is correct. if it isn't i add it in myself. also i have noticed that a lot of the same added foods listed don't have the same information as each other, even for the same sizes. i don't know if it is listings from other countries or why they are different. checking before adding is highly recommended !!!!

    I just recently noticed this. I was really surprised that people would only track calories.

    I'm pretty cautious about importing other member's entries. I usually check a few percentages and amounts against the label before importing.

    that's why I enter all my own food...well unless I dont' have a package...also I have found a mistake in the sodium area one time...and was wondering why I was so over...
