When planning your meals, think about color and variety! A plate with some bright green steamed asparagus beside some beautiful yellow squash and bright red sweet strawberries makes meals fun and lots more enjoyable! The kids love it too.

Try to incorporate as many colors as you can into your diet. Now .. no cheating with food coloring! lol Red tomatoes or apples, yellow bananas or lemons, green spinach or celery, orange oranges or peppers, purple eggplant or basil. Ttry to have at least 4 to 5 different colors every day.
I am not much of a vegetable fan, but I love fruit. I have been adding veggies to my fruit smoothies. No, I haven't done spinach or brocolli - I don't think I can get past the color, but I have added raw/frozen cauliflower and/or carrots. They add no flavor or color at all.
