all you need is basic every day house work that needs to be done .. picking up toys putting toys away dancing to music while you do your chores and the steps add up really fast and you know how we parents say no jumping on the bed right well now i say when the kids take a nap jump and jump your bed.
I've never been a morning person & LOVE to smack the "snooze button" on my alarm several times when it blares at me in the morning. For the past week & a half, I've been jumping out of bed & getting on my Gazelle for 15 minutes while watching the local news instead of staying cozy in bed. I find that I actually have more energy for the day & I have a feeling of accomplishment! 67
I've found a great way to exercise my upper body is to play with my young children on a bed. How so, you ask? I've gotten creative in the "how" but it started with helping my daughter "jump" on the bed while I lifted her up to touch the ceiling. 3-4 sets of 10 reps of THAT and you get a great (and fun) workout.
