Retailers are experts at marketing their goods. They want the buyer to buy immediately and without thought. Everyone needs to wait until the next day for larger out of pocket expenses. Sometimes after a little more reflection the must have it results in the I do not really need it!

If You Could Only Have 100 Items, what would it be?
I saw an article about this where a couple could only have 100 items in their home. They paid off their $30,000 debt doing this. I made the list just to see how much I really have and what I really don't need. It was very interesting to see the results, so now I know what items I don't need.
I save money by making a menu of what we are going to eat for EACH meal (not necessarily by date) that we will be eating during the pay period. I also factor in snacks and beverages. Then I check the freezer, cupboards, & fridge to see what we already have. Our list comes from what is left.
This way I do not repeat items we already have and only spend on things we really need to eat well.
Many people make a "ToDo" list by job time - how long it takes a given task 2 B done, from longest time or shortest time. Some people list things N order as they think of them. I prioritize by what needs 2 B done. A items absolutely have to get done NOW. B items are things that can be done later.
'C' items would be nice to get done - sometime. When A's are done I re-prioritize. Some C items have dropped off. Some new A's may be added. B's have moved to A's or dropped to C's. Always be working on the important tasks in your life and you will be happier. Nit-picky 'C's aren't worth the worry.
