Set goals. One of the secrets to being successful in a lifestyle change is to set goals. Set a long term goal first this is the ultimate goal. Then set several intermediate goals. These will be easier to reach thus helping you feel successful along the way. Then add a dose of perseverance.

Short term goals are much easier to achieve. Each successive goal brings you closer to your ultimate goal.

    Most "diets" don't work because people don't or can't stick with them.
I'm starting the Spark 28 Day Program TODAY, and setting my long term, intermediate, and short term goals - writing them down and referring to them often - will help me stay focused to make the moment-by-moment decisions to stay on track toward meeting those goals!
