If you're absolutely craving that cookie, candy, doughnut, or second helping, try this: Estimate how many calories are in the food you want. For every hundred calories, drink 1 cup of water first.
If it's something SUPER high-cal, like a doughnut Stick (400 cal), after four cups of water and the time it takes to consume said water, chances are you don't want it anymore! If you do, don't deprive yourself, just make adjustments to your diet and exorcise routine to make up for the treat.
