If you live with another person and don't want to throw out all your food, buy your food before you start. Buy fruits and vegis so that you will have food for your meals and snacks.
If it is not in your house how can you eat it?
Aim for 4+ servings a day of vegis and 3+ of fruit. If you must drink juice drink just a few ozs not the whole 8 ozs. And mix it with water. Tang is a good thing to keep in your house.

I started buying food I never heard of before, like couscous, tofu, lentils etc and spend hours looking for healthy recipes. I bought my first avocado and fresh spinach at age 43, how sad is that? But anyhow, then I bought a food processor and used some creativity to make some very tasty meals.
Healthy eating can taste awesome!!! I made turkey lentil chili and it was the best I have ever made. Even my husband raved to others about it. Don't be afraid to try something. Spend time learning and reading about healthy recipes and tailor them to your liking. This is a lifestyle change not a diet
