Freeze Bananas

I don't like bananas once they "over-ripen". So I freeze my bananas if I can't eat them in time. Frozen bananas are a great treat and they work well in a fruit smoothy too! emoticon

To freeze bananas, peel them first. Then I wrap the peeled banana in plastic wrap and then a layer of foil. I normally cut my banana's in half before freezing.

I too don't like bananas after they are too ripe, we used to make banana bread with them - but we do slice them up and freeze them to make great smoothies with!

It is a good idea but mine went black when they defrosted. Do you leave the skin on.
