Volunteer for anything you really believe in. This makes you feel good about helping others. Also helps your attitude when you get positive results from those you help and puts a smile on your face. Doesn't matter what you do, just do it.

I don't get "paid" to volunteer but I get quite a few "perks". I get a "free" lunch (yes I know-no such thing as a "free lunch") when I volunteer at the hospital. I received a membership to the historical society because I volunteer there. Plus there's the volunteer recognition lunches, etc. each year.
Help others, help yourself, get rewarded in more ways than one! 41
I volunteer several days a week at a local no-kill dog shelter. I go early in the mornings and walk dogs for 3-4 hours, non stop. Its great exercise, great for the dogs, and a huge help to an entirely volunteer run organization.
I set a time to exercise and put it in my calendar as I would an appointment to the doctors. I set my appointments at 10 am Monday through Friday and workout for 1 hour. Mon, Wed, And Fri I do go to my doctors since they have volunteers to be exercise coaches in the small gym. On Tue and Thur I have same time set aside to do exercises using SP videos as my coach.
I use the treadmill for cardio at the doctors and I use dumbbells and exercise bands for strength both at home and at the doctors. I use the SP Videos to get a full workout of cardio and strength at home. I also make sure I warmup and cool-down every session.
