    Each morning I put 5 things on my list to do for the day. I see how they will get done and throughout the day I work toward getting them done. Things include: going to my Latin dance class, making the bed in the morning, taking the puppoes for a long walk, drinking 8 glasses of water and cleaning the kitchen. If I don't get it all done by 8 p.m. then I let it go and give myself time to relax. When I have more time I do more intricate tasks. It's about trusting myself and then forgiving myself if I am not perfect.

    I also found it helps if you get a desk calendar and schedule a time for everything on it. If it is in writing it makes you accountable. Setting a timer really adds to following your schedule.

    People laugh at my schedules, plans and grids, but it's the only way I have a chance of getting what I need to get done, accomplished.
