The week is so busy, that I prepare the main part of Monday-Friday's meals on the weekend, then freeze them for my husband and I. At dinner I simply re-heat and serve with fresh or steamed veggies. FAST & EASY! 12302286254
I also make a dozen muffins on the weekend, with protein powder and fruit in them for a fast breakfast on the go each morning.
Let's say my craving today is doughnuts and I feel powerless to resist them. I imagine an animated dozen doughnuts ringing my doorbell. When I open the door, 4 doughnuts hold me down, 2 doughnuts force my mouth open and the other half dozen jump in my mouth. Ridiculous, yes? Of course it is, but so is the notion I have no more control over my eating than that, and I've made myself smile. 3024620

Clicking that link takes you to a page where you can add any of dozens of nutrients for your nutrition tracker to calculate. Examples are calcium, iron, magnesium, sodium, potassium, glucose, sucrose. The additional nutrients show in the chart at the bottom of your nutrition tracker page and help you watch your daily intake.
Knowing something about psychology, I know it's important to get correct proportions of sodium, potassium, and calcium for proper brain function - and body. I started tracking those nutrients and am amazed at how out of proportion my intake was. Eye-opening! At least knowledge is power!
