I'm not giving up. I'm losing weight with the hopes that the stiffness will at least ease up. I AM feeling better the more active I am.

That was a terrible comment for a medical professional to make. To take away Hope is the worst. Good for you. Don't ever let anyone do that to you. You are loved and you are worth every effort!

I have found that doctors often will tell you that you are getting older and have to expect things to get worse. They can't be bothered to find the cause of the problem and how to make it better. We have to advocate for our own health. Good for you!

The last thing we ever should do is give up. We may need to make changes due to the arthritis or our Fibromyalgia but that's all. It all depends on what we want, not the Dr's. So I say 'Go for it' I could have given up 40 years ago but didn't and am still going.

I broke my finger about 2 years ago. My doctor told me that it would never be straight like it was. I exercised it and by the time a year past you could not tell that I broke it. Proof that if you stick to your goal you can do it!
