Yup, me too. Beating myself has never, ever helped me. It is an easy and for me, lazy response to going off my program. What helps me much more is to give myself some compassion-change is hard and step back and try to evaluate how going off track happened.

I overate this past weekend after racing the 10k. I really pushed myself and I didnt get the time I wanted. I also went to a wedding. Not sure if it was emotional, being busy, hungry from exerting energy...who knows..but i had wine, beer, pizza, steak sandwich, etc...etc... I just couldnt get enough. I am back on track now..but boy did I have a weekend of sorts!

I overate tremendously over the weekend due to my surprise birthday party. Thankfully, I only have one birthday a year :).
