    A vegan diet can just as easily be a junk food diet, so make sure you're replacing meat, dairy, eggs, honey & animal by-products with healthy fruits, veggies, beans/legumes & whole grains- not analogs for what you were eating before! - by EM_ORTIZ
  • Definitely! The healthy vegan lifestyle requires that you learn about health and nutrition. I overhauled my entire diet (not in the weight-loss sense, but in the sense of the food I eat to survive) and now have so much delicious variety! Look for vegan cookbooks that don't rely on what some of us call "omni-subs," eg, fake meats and cheeses. Eat real food! - by LIBRARIANJEN
