I find that with exercise, the hardest part of accomplishing it is simply the act of gettng started.
I trick myself in to "just 15 minutes of cardio", but once I've started - completing the hour is no big deal. The hardest thing is convincing myself to put on my shoes & shorts, and just GO. If my body is whining - thinking "only 15 mins" makes it easier to simply get started.

For people overwhelmed with too much to do and not enough time. Either set the timer for ten minutes to clean as fast as you can or choose to toss, donate or put away ten things. When not faced with trying to complete the whole task it is easier to get started.
Once I have set the timer and gotten started with the task, I often find I have finished the job before I know it.
