I find that with exercise, the hardest part of accomplishing it is simply the act of gettng started.

MORE INFORMATION:
I trick myself in to "just 15 minutes of cardio", but once I've started - completing the hour is no big deal. The hardest thing is convincing myself to put on my shoes & shorts, and just GO. If my body is whining - thinking "only 15 mins" makes it easier to simply get started.

    Absolutely! And for me - 15 mins happens to work currently, but when I was 30 lbs heavier, I had to convince myself to just do 5 minutes ... then 10 minutes. Whatever magic number sounds manageable and will get you to at least pull on your running shoes, stretch, and start - even if it's just for 5 mins of cardio. Once you get going, you'll find that 5 or 10 mins goes by really quick, and suddenly you're pulling off 30, 60, 90 minute sessions. The biggest hump to surmount is just the simple act of getting started - and this is true in almost any project .. not just exercise!

Keep at it COCOGIRL - results take time and work, but HOLY COW are they worth every single minute and drop of sweat! :) emoticon

    I have so much house work and cleaning and organizing my house which has gone long way past its time. I use that as my workout. I have been cleaning my walls, painting, cleaning my closets, which I have two children and I've done their closets. Everyday I do about 2-3 hours of house work. Then the shopping and laundry is added to those chores. So I'm not really working out for say. But I am bringing out a sweat and then I know that I've actually done something.. And if I work out first, then I don't want to do the house work. So it's either work out or house work, cleaning and so forth. I have a very busy life style and walk most of the day. I never stop. My children and husband tell relax and sit down for a while. I say okay, but never do. I use to log on my trackers but I haven't lately. I just try to eat nutritional food most of the time. emoticon

    I so agree....even though it is a regular part of my day...beginning is the toughest part. Once I am in it....working up the sweat becomes my motivation.

    Sometimes 15 minutes sounds like too much but I just started on the Day 1 BootCamp 10 Minute Cardio video...those are great! I figure you have to start somewhere.
