When you've purchased fresh berries and they start going bad, like you don't really want to use them, blend them, pour them into ice cube trays and use them for smoothies! Saves you money in not through them out and they are healthy!
I have a magic bullet I find very useful, it small and doesn't take up much counter space, does a great job for this task and then I use when making the smoothies!

I buy a big pack of whey protein from 'my protein'. Mix it in the morning with semi-skimmed milk and blend frozen berries for vitamins. The protein keeps me full until lunch, and even gets me through a morning workout. You can always add extra's too or whatever fruit you have. 213
