what has been helping me is a little more movement. when im watching tv during commercial breaks i get up and climb the stairs in my dorm a few times, or randomly break out in dance when a good song is on. it doesnt seem like much but my weight is dropping!

A year ago my arthritic knees had gotten so bad I was barely walking. It was a vicious circle, it hurt to move so I stopped moving which made my joints worse so I moved even less. The doctor recommended a round of physical therapy and regular pool exercise which got me moving again. I still have pain but I can walk and move normally through daily activities again. The lesson I finally learned is to keep moving to keep moving, especially when you don't feel like it!
