No matter what type cardio I am doing-I just keep moving...even if I have to slow it down from a jog to a very slow walk. I started going for time (one hour) instead of distance or intensity. I tell myself to be the last one on the track. Often i get a second wind a can jog more later on

I have heard this before on an old exercise tape, going for LSD. (long slow distance) I like this approach because it is more manageable for me. Thanks for the reminder!

Gauge Cardio Intensity Without Heart Rate Monitor!
The key to fat loss and cardio is low intensity and longer duration.
You can gauge your intensity by counting the # of words you say between breaths. Ideally, 6-7 words/syllables for fat-burning.
My fave phrases (when I don't have someone to chat with so I don't look crazy talking to myself):
Don't do the exact same exercise for the exact same time and intensity every day. Vary the times and intensities and even activity. Your body is smart and if you do the same thing all the time your body efficiently burns fewer calories for the same time and intensity than it did before.
