Cut Your Juice Calories In Half

I like to have a cup of 100% juice once per day, but the calories and sugar for a cup can be quite steep. I've learned to pour 4ozs of juice and dilute it with 4ozs of water. That way I still have a "cup" of juice, but with only half of the sugar and calories!

    I always do this. Yes it does save the calories , but it is also less acidic for your teeth, and too much undiluted juice upsets my stomach and goes right through me. Try it with hot water too! Especially cranberry, grapefruit,etc.Believe it or not, hot orange tastes fine too.

    I prefer it even more to dilute juice with sparkling water. That way it's more like Orangina or a spritzer than just watery juice.
