I found that most make up removal and astringent products, including the very expensive, include witch hazel in their ingredients. You can buy this at the drug store or walmart for a few bucks and really save money.

Witch hazel is an astringent. If you apply it to your face with a cotton ball, it removes excess oils - great to use before putting on makeup or at the end of the day. It also holds moisture in the skin, so it can be used to combat dry, cracked hands; after washing your hands rub on some witch hazel and let dry. In a few days you may see improvement.
There are many more uses for witch hazel. Do an online search and see what works for you. You can find it in stores by the first aid supplies, next to the rubbing alcohol.
I use baby wipes as makup remover. It removes makeup, even eye makeup, mascara, eyeliner, whatever!! I buy the 3 pack at walmart for $6.00. Pretty cheap compared to eye makeup remover!! Great for camping too!!
