Freeze plastic bottles filled not quite full with water.

You can take them on your walk/run/workout and the water melts and stays cold longer than cold water does.

I work outside and during the summer months I take at least one bottle of frozen water with me. I wrap a cloth around it and when it melts, it wets the cloth so I not only have cool water to drink but I also have a cool cloth to wipe my face and hands . I really helps when the weather outside is in the 90s and in the vehicle it's higher.

Plastic leaches into liquid when it's cooled or warmed. It's better to drink from bottles that are stainless steel or hard plastic.

I put a half frozen bottle of water on my nightstand. For me, it helps with hot flashes.
