Get up and go to the bathroom first. Then evaluate how you feel - if you're still dead tired, you probably need the sleep - go back to bed. But once you're up, you're more likely to feel like you might as well STAY up, and then you can get in that morning work out!

After reaching a milestone goal (for me, a mile in 10 minutes), I had a difficult time getting back into running. On a whim, one day I brought my iPhone in the gym with me. I picked a song and was off and running. Upbeat is good, meaningful lyrics even better.
"Narcolepsy" by Ben Folds Five was a great start to my day today: a pounding rhythm that just happens to match my footsteps at a 6 mph pace and (somewhat) appropriate lyrics - "I'm not tired... I'm not tired..." A good album for longer workouts is Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots, by The Flaming Lips.
I'm most likely to make an unhealthy meal choice when I'm rushed or tired. To avoid this I set aside time to cook in large batches. Then I freeze meals in individual portion sizes. When I don't have time to make lunch or I'm too tired to cook dinner, I just pull something out of the freezer.
