  • I remember a Tupperware rep telling me to wrap my lettuce in a damp paper towel or even fabric kitchen towel after I removed the core, then store it in their tupperware container (of course) to last longer. It actually does work. I no longer store it in the container, but I do wrap the lettuce head in a damp towel and throw in a large zip lock. - by SINGLEMOM1960
  • I always do this. when we use strawberries I wash them as i am about to use them.I take the hulls out last and put them in a bowl with a paper towel to absorb any moisture. The moisture keeps them fresh till they are actually served at the table. - by NORASPAT
  • Great idea! My husband did this not too long after his mom died and it really does work! emoticon emoticon - by ANGELFMABV
