Weighing Food With Postal Scale Is A Big Help

This Sparked Me!

My postal scale doubles as a food scale for weighing meats and cheeses to help keep me on track. It's always handy and leaves no doubt about my calorie intake for a meal.

MORE INFORMATION:
Hint: To prevent the scale from getting dirty, I place a sheet of plastic wrap on the scale before weighing the food.

I do the same thing....but I bought mine as a food scale...it only measures up to 3lbs...which I never hope to need for ANY serving size. I found it at COSTCO and LOVE it!!

Ha-ha ! I do the same :) I wonder how many other Etsy sellers use their scales other than for mailings ? It's so much more convenient than having to buy another one.
Hope all is going well for you and yours, look forward to seeing a pic. or two of your new look :)
Take care, hugs,,

What a great idea! I would think it would be accurate too. I think I need to get one not just for food but for weighing packages. Again, great idea, never thought of this.
