I work on finding 1 good thing in each day and am learning to write it down. I want to be able to read about the positives in my life and let the negatives fade away

Get a notebook or journal and jot down thoughts as soon as they happen. Just a word, a name, or a thought helps me remember the event more clearly when I have time to write about it later.

    Try looking at one day at a time and focus on seeing the good in yourself and don't worry about what others think. The one you need to make happy is GOD and yourself. If someone doesnt like something about me or me, I look at it thats one less person I have to deal with. Remember GOD WILL PERECT THAT WHICH CONCERNS ME!

    Great idea! I think I will try this. Usually when I wake up in the morning, my first thought is "Uggghhhhh! I don't want to go to work" I think I will change it to "I'm very lucky to have a job in these economic times". Change a negative into a positive.

    When I was a teenager suffering from the usual depression, I started each day this way. When I first woke up, I'd think of one thing I looked forward to. It got me through!
