It doesn't matter what you do, just MOVE! I say "anything is better than slouching on the couch" for example: I really like jumping, so I do jumping jacks for about 5-10 minute than I move on to a different exercise.
my favorite way to exercise in front of the TV is to alternate between cardio, strength, resistance and/or, stability threw out the whole show. for example: 10 min. jogging in place 10min. crunches, side plank, and reverse crunch with ball. then repeat

Watch TV without feeling Lazy (with hand weights!)
While watching tv, rather then sitting back and getting too comfy I sit on my sofa and use my hand weights while watching tv, its really fun and if your really into watching something you kinda forget about it and afterwards it makes me feel like i accomplished some exercise while watching tv!104
I like to watch TV while I exercise but I also like to use exercise videos (e.g.lWalk Away the Pounds). I use my computer for the exercise video with the sound turned off and I turn on the TV. This way I can Walk Away the Pounds and watch TV or a movie.
