This Sparked Me!

I have always failed because I would have a bad day and tell myself that since I ate that one bad thing I might as well go ahead and eat everything else I want. Then I would proceed to eat and eat and eat.Now I forgive it and jump right back in where I am, not worrying about the past.

MORE INFORMATION:
Reading "The Spark" has helped me change my attitude about weight loss and made me realize perfectionism was always preventing me from being successful. You can't be perfect all the time. You will stray. You just have to learn to jump right back in and get back on track. emoticon

That is SO TRUE! I've always felt like I had to completely deprive myself of everything when going on a "diet"! I've even tried to tell myself the "Lifestyle Change" thing before but secretly knew I meant DIET! With this honest continual Lifestyle Shaping I know that if I really want or crave something I can go a head & have it. I'll have to compensate for it & my graphs & charts won't look as pretty as I'd like but I'm not feeling constantly deprived. For some silly reason the charts, graphs, sparkpoints & other visual aids & rewards really matter. This whole program is geared toward helping to change attitudes & reshape thinking & I LOVE THAT!! After 44 years of struggling with weight issues I finally have found the thing that has clicked!! It's all in how you look at it!! emoticon emoticon
