Get up and play with your pets! Its amazing how many obese pets there are in America now! It's kind of a bad sign if your dog growls at you when you say "Go for a walk"... I shop the bulk bins at the higher end grocery stores when I want a fix for sweets. I am usually already there for something. If I want a white chocolate carmel cashew turtle, then I buy 1 and the rest stay on the "shelf" - I do not come home with a "bag" of cheats.
Freeze dark or any kind of decadent chocolate you like. I find that if I let the bag just sit in my cupboard I am more apt to just grab piece after piece until I've binged big time. Freezing it not only keeps you from overindulging, but letting it melt slowly in your mouth helps you feel satisfied with less.
My favorite chocolate is Lindt's 70-80% cacao dark chocolate.
