Drink At Least 3 Cups Of Green Tea (hot Or Cold) To Help Lose Belly Fat



Catechins the antioxidants found in high amounts in green tea have been shown to be helpful in promoting weight loss, specifically belly fat. Decaf green tea is OK if caffeine is a problem. However, some decaffeination processes can lower the antioxidant content so add an extra cup or two per day.

In a study at the USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging at Tufts University, people who drank 3 cups of green tea a day lost twice as much weight as those not drinking tea. The tea-drinking group also lost significantly more belly fat than non-tea drinkers.

    I wish this would work for me. Habitual tea drinker, green included, and I feel like my belly is one of the most stubborn parts of my body. But it probably doesn't hurt to drink it and I like the taste too. Antioxidants are great. - by KENDALLR123

  • I'm not a huge fan of the taste of green tea, so I brew it (for iced tea) with a couple of herbal tea bags as well that have a lot of flavor - the one I'm drinking now is some fruity cinnamon mix. It makes the tea taste sweeter without adding sugar, masks some of the strong green tea taste, and doesn't take away any of the antioxidants of the tea. - by LEESHA07
