I keep a gym bag full of all the things I can forget to pack in my gym bag. I call it my "no excuses bag" I have socks, extra sneakers, Gym outfit, toiletries....everything and anything I may forget and use as an excuse not to go the gym. I even have fiber bars and snacks in case I need to fuel.

  • Great idea-nothing more discouraging than going to the gym and opening your bag and realizing you forgot an important part of your workout clothes. - by MAMAMOOSE54

Thanks for the tip. I will leave this bag in my car because it's when I use this excuse. When I do get myself out of the house, which is another excuse I use to not exercise, and am in my car and have the time to walk or work out in the gym, I will have the right shoes, socks, and clothing for exercising. With this tip I won't have an excuse not to get some exercise I so much need. emoticon - by LAOSITA

  • great idea. I do the same thing in my gym locker plus what I need to show and change into work clothes if I have to. - by CLIMBERS_ROCK
  • I do this with my back pack for work. Long days or worse yet, night shift, sometimes has me leaving for work with no thought of food for the day. The guys sometimes laugh at me, but I don't have a wife at home to pack my lunch, I am the wife! Working 12 hour shifts or when I have a shorter day but a longer drive to work, then I'm just going home to sleep and then straight to work again the next day. Amongst a lot of very long days, I put in a 16 3/4 hour day one time plus a 45 minute drive each way, to and from work! We have to do what we can. That 16 hour day was driving and recycling - up to 4,000 KG per day! - by DONNAKOVAC

  • This is a great idea. I don't go to a gym but I know there have been times when I've wished I had my sneakers, water, erc with me for some impromptu walking. - by ANASONIC
