Save clean up time in the Kitchen
Have hot soapy water in sink, as you cook or bake, throw dirty dishes in when finished using them, they soak til you're finished, dishes are quick and easy to clean.
If you fill up the sink with hot soapy water when you start cooking/baking, then drop your used (and not to be REUSED) dirty items in it as you go (such as mixer beaters, mixing bowls, measuring cups, etc.) you will have counter space left to work and your dishes will be soaked and ready for a quick wash while your food is cooking/in the oven. By the time dinner is ready, your kitchen is tidy and there's no post-dinner mess to contend with!
When cooking, have a dishpan full of hot, soapy water to clean as you cook. I will pitch in utensils, mixing bowls, and whatever other instruments I use to prepare the meal into the sudsy water as I finish with them. Saves a lot of clean-up time afterwards. ;)
