When I've eaten my calories for the day I brush my teeth. I'm less likely to grab an extra snack when I have already cleaned my teeth. Bonus -- mouth is minty fresh and water is extra refreshing.

I read once that this is a great tip when you're cooking. If you're tasting toothpaste, then you're less likely to "taste test" whatever it is you're cooking.
