Get rid of anything in the pantry or fridge that is an easy snack (except fruit/veggies.) If you have to prepare a snack (cookies or whatever) you'll think about whether you REALLY want it or whether you're bored, tired, or emotional.

1. Sort If you have a ton of stuff and/or clutter, with closets and all spaces crammed full, realize from the outset your goal is to keep ONLY the best 10%. Someone needs & can use the stuff you're hoarding - give away the good stuff, & you'll be blessed. Call a charity who picks up.
2. Containerize What's left needs to be organized in a functional, unclogged, easy to maintain way with good free space. At this point you might find you need to purge again. Use containers, shelves, (cont'd)
baskets, hangars, etc THAT WORK FOR YOU. When you are out of space, either move into a larger place or purge again, keeping only the best 10%.
3. Maintain If you are in the purging stage, for every item you bring in, take 2-4 out. If you are in the maintaining stage, 1 in = 1 out.
