Get rid of anything in the pantry or fridge that is an easy snack (except fruit/veggies.) If you have to prepare a snack (cookies or whatever) you'll think about whether you REALLY want it or whether you're bored, tired, or emotional.

    I agree with this absolutely! It's so simple but really effective - I never realised I tended to go for foods like cookies when I was emotionally askew until I tried this.
