When I don't feel like exercising, I always think of how I would feel after I work out...I try to remember the feel of the sweat, the muscles I worked during my workout, and being energized and feeling accomplished that I did something good for myself. .

Right after your workout, take time to do a mental and physical inventory of exactly how you are feeling (energized? Proud? Relaxed?) Next time you don't feel like going for a walk or to the gym, draw upon those after feelings and FOLLOW THROUGH to get them again! This habit helps me to NOT talk myself out of a workout...
I find that when i don't really want to work out, if i just put on my workout shoes it gets the ball rolling and I'm ready to start my workout. Putting on my shoes/ workout cloths seems to be the hardest part. After the workout, i feel energized and ready to take on the world. So put on those shoes!
