I wear them on the treadmill and just around the house doing housework, and use the heavy hands about half the time on the treadmill. Burn baby burn! Also, if you can't go fast you can still go "up", increase that incline and increase your calorie burn.

Put ankle weights and arm weights before playing wii fit, not only do you get the benefit of being active on something really fun -- but the added resistance from the ankle weights and arm weights burns more calories!
Wii fit is great for burning calories -- especially the fun run and hula hoop. You can even change channels while doing the free run :)
If you are disabled it is very hard to exercise so what I did was buy two one pound weights dumbbells and some 2 pound ankle weights and wear the weights on my ankles all day so that even when I get up tp use the bathroom I am exercising.
I put on ankle weights when I work, cause I'm walking and working the sales floor all day and the weights give my body a workout as I move. I'm constantly moving and don't lose weight cause my body's used to the repetitive movement, so the weights spark it up a bit!
