I often remind myself "it doesn't have to be perfect - it just has to get DONE". Maybe my plan was to do some other workout, but time got away from me...I can do something else. Perfectionism has too often robbed me of doing ANYTHING - and this falls in all categories for me...eating, exercise, etc.
Although I try to eat mainly whole foods and avoid processed stuff, sometimes I let perfectionism in this area get in the way of watching my calories. I had to learn to find some quick convenient, yet healthy, foods to eat when things are rushed and hectic.
