Buy a big bag of nuts, or dehydrated fruits. Measure them out and put them in plastic containers so you don't have to think about it when you're hungry in a pinch. I leave some in my car! You can put them in 100 calorie measurements or 50 calorie.

    I do this too, and have found it especially handy when traveling. If I can't find something healthy to eat, I can have some nutritious, nonperishable snack to hold me over.

    I do this too. A great way to have a selection of snacks that are only 100 cals a bag. Of course you can make this any size you want. Just keep them all the same, or close. always over estimate so any spurious cals are on your side. emoticon

    Grat idea, you can even buy small zip lock bags, they are called "snack bags"
