Switch it up
Every week I change my days off if I can, so that my body does not get used to the same routine. I also switch up my activities. So, although I train for a 5k, I'm not always running at the gym. I don't always do the same DVD. Once I can finish a DVD without hurting too much, I move to a different style (toning, or abs, or dance, etc.)

I don't know about you, but when I'm bored, I can get munchy. Having water available to me - and closer than snacks - means sometimes I drink water just to do SOMETHING. I bring my "boredom water" in the car to drink while I drive, sit it next to me at work... and that's how I drink so much water!
