If you are like me, you pay more for hot water than cold, because you pay for the water and then to heat it. So when your water is too hot, turn down the hot water. When it is too cold, instead of increase the hot, decrease the cold!

Remember: whichever way you need to go to the correct temperature in the shower or wherever, Turn it down!

Use an upside down wire hanging planter to display hanging ornaments

Buy a decorative hanging basket that can be turned upside down and hang your dangling ornaments like crystals, sun catchers and small wind chimes etc on it. Christmas tree bauble hooks are ideal to hang them up with.. Arrange them around the edge and if possible hang a main one in the centre. Looks attractive and you only have to pull down the whole basket to clean them.

Sneaky way to get my spouse to exercise

My DH has Type 2 Diabetes and needs to get healthy. I invite him to play tennis with me so I can get in my exercise minutes. He hardly ever turns me down. I asked him if he would run a 5k with me. We went out tonight and ran 1.70 miles to train for it. It's sneaky, but it works for me and him! 211
