leave the peels on your potatos when you mash them. they are full of valuable vitamins and minerals and a wonderful source of potassium. they give texture to the mashed spuds, too!! I have never had anyone complain about this!!

    I believe peeld skin is good for the skin as well

    I've been doing this for years, I also use red potatoes they say they are better for you. They definitely taste really good that way. And it definitely gives them more texture. emoticon

    I am going to start doing this...I LOVE potatoes, but haven't thought about the peelings giving me that extra that is so good for me.

    Great tip. Unfortunately my hubby won't eat mashed potatoes with the skins in them.
