This way it will neither seem to be a poject to huge to be coped with and you do not have to donate entire weekends to it! Every thing will get tidy constantly and you will love it.

  • I also believe that we create clutter and have decided that, if I purchase something, I have to give something away to make "room" for the new item. You'd be surprised if you pay it forward, they will eventually come back to you without it costing you a thing! We can do this with the clothes we no longer need after we lose the weight! emoticon - by SUNSET09

  • I also have a 2 year rule. If I haven't worn that outfit in 2 seasons, it goes away. I sometimes will hang onto something if I like the cloth, and refashion an item based on the cloth. - by MIUMIU69
  • When we get gifts, as a family, we ask our kids and ourselves to get rid of the same number as gifts we receive. If my kid gets three gifts, they get rid of three things, either through regifting, donation, or giving to a friend who would like the item. No increase in stuff then. - by MIUMIU69
