I have found that when I am eating a meal{for the past 3 mos.},I can slowly lower my intake of certain items like cottage cheese, ice cream and margarine and I don't miss the extra helping at all. For example, take margarine on toast.I use Smart Balance Light because it's high in omega-3's .

.And helps your HDL cholestrol.I started w/ 1 tbsp.,then 1/2tbsp,and now 1 tsp. I like the 2% cottage cheese-from 1 c. to 1/2cup.And I do eat ice cream{as well as nonfat frozen yogurt} sparingly-from 1c. to 1/2 cup. I like to keep my dairy in my diet,just not so much anymore!

    I love using Smart Balance. I also use the milk Smart Balance milk with omega 3.

    Above comment refers to 2 High folate/Low Calorie recipes of my own I was going to enter but need to put them in the spark cookbook first and didn't want to frustrate people who were looking for them. Sorry. emoticon
