I use my SP Fitness Planner for my strength training and cardio. I also write a plan for my 5 days of cardio on Sunday afternoon as I look at the schedule for the week ahead. This helps me fit it in, doesn't leave time for excuses and helps keep me fit and organized.

I'm one of those people that has to have a workout planned ahead. I use DVDs for exercise so I try to come up with a 6-week rotation. I also keep a log of all my workouts with comments about intensity and fun factor and this helps me to plan future workouts.

Excellent idea. It is probably a lot harder to ignore doing something if it's written down. Thanks for sharing...I'm off to write down my exercise plan for this week.

Making an exercice plan works great! It didn't work for me until I wrote it down and taped it to my desk.

JPEARL1279/17/2012 1:48:00 PM
great idea--if I wait to do things daily, I get bogged down in articles and nutrition tracking and miss the varied plans for exercise....then wonder why I'm bored with my current routines!

Seeing a plan visually is a great way to reinforce it and helps support success.

I also do this and it truley helps keep me moving and motivated, so that I don't have to deduct from my fitness minutes that I have already posted for the week.

I do that type of thing regarding meals, but haven't considered the tracker like that. Sounds like a FAB idea, especially for strength training, which I need to pick up on!
