For all my weight loss (and moreover, maintenance), I have not been super concerned with how many carbs vs proteins vs fats, or good vs bad carbs, etc... I know I need a reasonable mix, and I know not to overdo anything. So yeah, I pretty much ignore the so-called nutritional advice, other than ..
... to not overdo (read: overeat) anything in particular or too much overall. Proof of my success? I haven't put on more than 2 pounds at any given point since losing the wieght almost 3 years ago. And I eat ANYTHING I desire.
