hi all. i find that i was eating too many snacks with my tea drinks so i have now trained myself to wait till my tea is cool enough to drink all at one time and have a smaller snack or even half or quater of a cookie so one cookie lasts me all day instead of eating one cookie with every cup of tea.
Pour boiling water over old fashioned oats and let it sit a bit. When you come back to it, it will be cooked, If you add some raisins or dried cranberries with a dash of cinnamon or nutmeg before adding the water, it's especially tasty!
