I've read it takes 20 minutes for your stomach to know you have eaten. So it is recommended you eat slowly. But sometimes I'm still hungry after I've eaten my planned meal slowly. But here's a secret. Often if I just wait, usually 20 more minutes, but sometimes up to an hour, the hunger goes away.

You are so right. I am just learning the value of waiting...I tell myself if I am still hungry in 20 minutes, then I will have something more, but the feeling does pass. Patience is indeed a virtue!!
