Mindful Eating

Concentrate really hard on eating slowly at least once a day to re-tune your taste buds. Be aware of the effect of tastes on various parts of your mouth. How do textures feel? Are you chewing, biting, sipping? Awareness and mindful eating has helped me to appreciate good food and to ditch the junk.

Great advice. Half the time I inhale my food and then wonder what I've just eaten. probably the reason I put on the weight.
Thanks. Annie

Good advice, too often I have eaten something while distracted by TV, computer, people and then I hardly remember having it, let alone appreciating it.

I have a bad habit of eating quickly to satisfy my taste buds. I am trying to slow down, because if it tastes good and you eat slowly, you can have the flavor longer. Plus, you eat less, if you are aware of your feeling of satisfaction. emoticon
