    I thought only I did this!! I refuse to spend quarters at all -- they're the college savings for my two boys. Every time they have $10 in the quarter book they get from our credit union, it goes in their accounts, and they get a savings sticker from the bank, which is fun for them. And other change goes in a big jug in our bedroom. Last time we cashed it out, there was over $500 in there! It really does add up.

    I do this too...I use the change to fund projects for my BF's 5th class..from guitars to art supplies to whatever she needs and can't afford, I do it little bits at a time with change. .
