When my girls were teenagers, we would walk in the evenings. Not only was it a great "bonding" time but we challenged one another on how fast we could walk. Walking together seems to activate the talk "button" and it was a great sharing time.

  • My daughter is sixteen. It's out special alone time when we walk. We talk about school and boys and anything she wants without being interrupted by her little brother. :) - by GRADY1971
  • My daughter is 30 now, but when she was a teen I used to have to PRY her out of the house after dinner. After about 10 minutes of walking she would completely open up and we would have a wonderful time! Thanks for the memory. - by TRAVELGRRL
