Walking With Teens

This Sparked Me!

When my girls were teenagers, we would walk in the evenings. Not only was it a great "bonding" time but we challenged one another on how fast we could walk. Walking together seems to activate the talk "button" and it was a great sharing time.

My daughter is sixteen. It's out special alone time when we walk. We talk about school and boys and anything she wants without being interrupted by her little brother. :)

My daughter is 30 now, but when she was a teen I used to have to PRY her out of the house after dinner. After about 10 minutes of walking she would completely open up and we would have a wonderful time! Thanks for the memory.
